Yep, you read that right. PEP is hiring! We are so excited to be looking to bring on both second shooters AND associate photographers for the 2021-2022 wedding seasons.

What does this mean?

Well, our main second shooter, Kyleigh, moved to Raleigh (because she got a bomb new job in her career as a news reporter!), and while we will miss her dearly, we are so excited for the opportunity this brings to her. This also means that we have a void to fill in her absence. We are looking for 2-4 second shooters to bring in on rotation for the upcoming wedding seasons. We are looking for skilled photographers who are comfortable shooting in different lighting situations, confident in their ability to direct bride/grooms parties and deliver high quality images, and wish to expand on their portfolio while gaining new experience working under Paige and other PEP photographers. A PEP second shooter is someone who is passionate about their career in wedding photography, and brings their heart to each wedding, ready to serve the couple and their guests and capture the day authentically. They understand they are there to work hard to capture the “extras” throughout the day as well as support the lead photographer. Pay starts at $35/hour and will be adjusted based on experience. Additionally, we are looking to bring on 1-3 associate photographers to the PEP team for the DMV/Eastern Shore areas! Associate Photographers join the team as lead photographers on the wedding day. Their job is to fulfill a wedding day as any lead photographer normally would, however instead of editing the images themselves, they hand them over to Paige to edit. Associate Photography is a great way for an experienced photographer to fill empty dates on their calendar, make decent money, and not have to edit a thing! They do not have contact with the clients prior to the wedding day either. Their job is also to step in day-of and fill the role of a PEP photographer, serving the clients and guests wholeheartedly and photographing a wedding in a mainly documentary style. We are looking for photographers who are confident in their abilities to accurately and successfully capture a wedding day, no matter what scenario is presented to them day of. Paige was an amazing photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures! We got along with Paige immediately and she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. Paige is very genuine and fun and our guests noticed this as well. The wedding party had fun joking with her during portraits and our guests loved that she danced while photographing the reception.

Paige kept track of the schedule once we started the portraits which allowed us to focus on our friends and family and having fun. She also looked over the tentative schedule during the planning process to ensure we had enough time for each part of the day.

Paige gave us clear expectations for when we could expect the finished pictures and delivered hundreds of high quality pictures within those timeframes. We love Paige’s documentary style photography that captures the moments as they unfold rather than staging them.

Paige is the absolute best photographer you could have! We took our engagement photos with her and was blown away how at ease she made us feel and how amazing the photos turned out. When she sent us our sneak peak photos from our wedding, our mouths dropped. They were better than we could have ever imagined! I still have family members talking about how much they loved her. Paige is the best! We met first when we booked her for our 2019 wedding and engagement. She was our first vendor booked and obviously our favorite. We just knew we HAD to work with her. I've followed paige for years,admiring her work and was lucky enough to work with her this past summer for what was just a couples shoot, turning into a surprise engagement shoot.
