So what exactly is Family Style?

Family Style came to life back in May 2024, after a wedding at Kent Island Resort with my wonderful couple, Courtney and Nick. The energy that day was magic. They cared deeply about celebrating with their loved ones, and they also cared about the people behind the scenes, including their vendors. They treated me not just as their photographer, but like a friend they were excited to have alongside them.

That may sound simple, but it truly meant something. When I got home, I sat out on our patio next to John, glass of wine in hand, and said, “That was the best wedding. They had so much fun, and they treated me like family.” It reminded me of how it felt when our dear friend Liv photographed our own wedding - that effortless sense of comfort and trust that allows for real, honest images.

Right there under the stars, John's beautiful mind brought Family Style coverage into existence.
